Adam Friedstein
Adam Friedstein grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts and holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Bard College. He began his publishing career in 2006 at Writers House, later going on to sell foreign rights at Harold Ober Associates, and most recently Trident Media Group where he worked with agents Ellen Levine, Alex Glass, and Melissa Flashman and authors such as Christopher Andersen, Russell Banks, Stanley Fish, and Matt Bondurant. He's currently looking for debut literary fiction, young adult fiction, and narrative and serious nonfiction, including academic, memoir, popular science, and pop-culture books.

Jessie Kunhardt
Jessie Kunhardt acts as the liaison between ALM and its international subagents, manages the internship program and the slush pile, and is actively seeking her own clients. She holds a BA (Honors) from Vassar College, and previously worked on the Books section of the Huffington Post. Jessie is particularly interested in young adult and middle grade fiction.

Tess Taylor
Tess scouts for new writers and develops non-fiction book proposals. She is a graduate of Amherst College, where she studied English and Urban Studies, and holds masters degrees in Creative Writing and Journalism from Boston and New York Universities. As well as writing widely, she has coached and taught writing at Boston University, MIT and Hofstra. She is a contributor to the Barnes and Noble Review, and is the author of The Misremembered World, a collection of poems published by the Poetry Society of America. Her poetry and non-fiction have appeared in American Poet, the Times Literary Supplement, the Boston Review, The Harvard Review, and the New Yorker, among others. She is interested in cultural studies, young adult fiction, literary fiction, narrative non-fiction, current affairs, history, and science.
