Clare Morrall

Clare Morrall is the author of ASTONISHING SPLASHES OF COLOUR (HarperCollins, 2004), which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2003.

Her second novel, NATURAL FLIGHTS OF THE HUMAN MIND (Harper Perennial, 2006), testifies to the essential goodness and resilience of the human spirit, and amply confirms her impressive talent.

LANGUAGE OF OTHERS was published in the UK by Sceptre in March 2008; it’s the absorbing story of a woman who spends much of her life feeling that she is out of step with the real world.

Born in Exeter, Morrall now lives in Birmingham and works as a music teacher.
