Kate Marshall and her husband David create guided journals to make it easy for people to write about their life, love, beliefs and experiences.

Nearly one half million copies of their journals are in print: WHAT I LOVE ABOUT YOU (Kate & David Marshall, Broadway Books, 2007), THE BOOK OF US: A Journal of Your Love Story in 150 Questions (Kate & David Marshall, Hyperion, 1998), THE BOOK OF MYSELF : A Do-it-Yourself Autobiography in 201 Questions (Carl & David Marshall, Hyperion, 1997 & 2007), and WORDS TO LIVE BY: A Journal of Wisdom for Someone You Love (Emily & Kate Marshall, Broadway Books, 2005). Their latest journal, PICTURE OF ME: Who I Am in 221 Questions, will be published by Broadway Books in April 2009.

Kate lives in northern California, where she writes and helps coordinate an adult literacy program.
