Kerry Hardie is a critically acclaimed Irish poet whose first novel, A WINTER MARRIAGE (Little Brown, 2002), is a stunning story about a 52 year old woman who marries a 70 year old man and the complications that this marriage of convenience poses in rural Ireland.

Her second novel, THE BIRD WOMAN was published by Little, Brown in 2006. She lives in County Kilkenny, Ireland, with her husband, writer Sean Hardie.
