PERFECT
Anna, a newly qualified interior designer, has
decided it’s time she went solo. She’s
risked all her money on the property of her dreams,
and is determined to do it up by herself –
proving to her family that she’s not just
a pretty face.
It may look as if she’s living
in the perfect cottage in a chocolate-box village,
but inside all is chaos: with a ladder for a staircase,
no upstairs flooring, candles her only form of
lighting and a sleeping bag and camping mat as
her only resting place, Anna’s soon wondering
whether she’s bitten off more than she can
chew. Her neighbor Chloe comes to the rescue,
providing tea and sympathy and a recently rescued
and extremely neurotic greyhound, Caroline. And
it’s love at first sight – until the
good-looking but impossible Rob Hunter turns up
on her doorstep, bringing new complications. Can
life get any more frustrating for Anna?
