Barbara Feldon

 



Barbara Feldon is best known for her role as Agent 99 in the television series, GET SMART. Her New York theatrical credits include Past Tense at the Circle in the Square, the musicial Cut the Ribbons, and her own woman show, Love for Better or Verse. Because of her love for reading, she has created and performed prose and poetry programs: “Jane Austen” at the 92nd Street Y and The Harvard Club, “Pablo Neruda” at Wellesley College and the Lotus Club, New York, “Virginia Wolfe” at Amherst College, “Gabriella Mistral” at The Americas Society, New York, “Great Love Poems” at The Poetry Society of America.

Barbara’s interest in the women’s issues led her to host Lifetime Network’s The Eighties Woman (an in-depth look at all aspects of women’s lives), and write LIVING ALONE AND LOVING IT: A Guide to Relishing the Solo Life (Fireside, 2003) a celebration of living alone as an alternative lifestyle.

GET SMART is currently aired on the cable channel, TV Land, and is one of their top-rated programs.
