Anna Cypra Oliver

 



Anna Cypra Oliver grew up in Taos, New Mexico, and got her MFA in creative writing from the University of Minnesota. 

She received a fellowship in nonfiction literature from the New York Foundation for the Arts for her first book ASSEMBLING MY FATHER: A Daughter’s Detective Story (HoughtonMifflin, 2004), the riveting account of her search for the truth about her father—a failed architect and child of the counterculture—who ended his life at the age of thirty-five. 

She currently lives with her husband in New York City.
